
Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ) is a program of the Foundation for Promotion of Sports and Games, a Not for Profit (Section 25) company, which is committed to supporting deserving and talented Indian sportspersons with an aim to help them win Olympic Gold Medals.
The Business Goal is to encourage Indians to contribute towards the cause, reach out to Indians to make OGQ a national movement and ensure sports icons become a household name, build brand OGQ and speak knowledge about the brand activities
and its athletes. Our over-riding goal was to redesign the website - enhance its functionality and usability which would in turn, encourage the public to financially support (a small, yet regular monetary contribution) the training
and the harnessing of the immense skills of our champion athletes under the program “Power your Champion”.
We began our work on the project by analyzing the information architecture of the previous version of the site and available website traffic data. This allowed us to design a new, well-organized site structure and navigation. We studied
potential user paths in order to select content and elements that should play a key role in the refreshed sportive looking site. Newsletters was created to send to the people who have started contributing, on the activities of
OGQ. We enabled easy updating of content without having to get into any changes on the design-level.
The activity resulted in bringing forth the vision of OGQ and reaching out to people at large through the digital media thereby resulting in creating an awareness and transformation. https://www.olympicgoldquest.in/
